Christi Orgeron is a 4 year letter winner as an outfielder for co-head coaches Stefni & Mike Lotief from 2009-2012 (redshirted 2008 season). She was an All-American in 2011 & 2012.
Her team in 2012 was 53-6 and hosted and won the first NCAA Regional since 2002.
Christi was a member of U.S.A. SOFTBALL Gold Medal World Cup in 2012. (See YOUTUBE VIDEO HERE).
In addition to being named the 2012 Sun Belt Player of the Year, she was a finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. She was also selected the Sun Belt Conference Female Student-Athlete of the Year for all sports. The New Orleans native broke the SBC and UL career RBI mark and closed her career ranked 6th all-time in NCAA history.
Christi was named the 2011-12 top female amateur athlete in the State of Louisiana and received the James Corbett Award presented by the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
Christi is from New Orleans and the daughter of Allen and Teresa Orgeron.
